Did you know, all proceeds from the sales of our CD go to local charities? Jennifer is supporting her church’s Micah 6:8 Project, a multi-faceted ministry of First Baptist Melbourne dedicated to families. Currently in its early stages, the Micah 6:8 house will serve as a refuge to keep homeless families together as they get back on their feet. Additional space is being used as a branch office of the Florida Baptist Children’s Home, to encourage God’s people to gain God’s heart for fostering and adoptive parenting. The Micah 6:8 Project aims to influence the surrounding communities with the practical love demonstrated by Jesus in the Gospels, and, in the process, point them to the Savior Who has adopted us into His family.
My heart is for Lifepoint Church’s Freedom Center. In conjunction with Caring for the Heart (a ministry committed to providing counseling and resources that are Biblically based for couples and individuals giving them the tools to resolve their marital and personal problems), the heart of the Freedom Center is to help build stronger families in our community. The interior of the building is being worked on currently, with the hope of space usable in early 2016 toward breaking emotional strongholds.
All online orders which are shipped/downloaded will have the proceeds split between the two ministries. Any local sales will go to one or the other ministry based on which of us sells the CD. So, we could do a friendly rivalry going between me and Jennifer. 😉
